Why China/Beijing?

- Vyacheslave Hleb (brother of Alexander Hleb: ex-Arsenal FC and Barcelona)

- Training and Sporting fields in Beijing are top-class as an outcome of the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

What is the price package?

When will we receive a confirmation of registration?
Once you register via our website, you will be sent an email confirming your interest to participate at GWC.
Following that, a tournament confirmation letter will be sent to you once the registration fee of 300USD has been paid.

Will the parents be charged a fee to watch the games?
No, the Great Wall Cup will not charge any amount for parents and supports watching the games. Their travel package
Can we arrive before the tournament to participate in a training camp in Beijing?
Yes, of course you are welcome to train in Beijing before the tournament. Please contact
info@chinasportstour.com for more information.

2. Competition

Where will the venues be for GWC 2012?
Most of the games will be played on the artificial pitches of Beijing Olympic Centre; U18 matches will be played on natural grass pitches at the surrounding Beijing Universities. More information please check out Fields & Venues

How many teams are there for each age category?
There will be 8-16 teams in each age category. Final numbers will be published a month prior to the start of Tournament.

How many games can you ensure during the tournament?
We guarantee a minimum of 4 games for your team during the tournament.

How many players can we register per team?
There is no limit to the amount of players you bring to the tournament. However, there will be a limit on the number of players in the squad for each match:
18 players for 11-a-side
12 players for 7-a-side

Can there be a mixed (boys & girls) team?
Only in the U12 age group boys and girls play for the same team.

Will there be scouts available at the GWC?
We will ensure maximum amount of media coverage both nationally and internationally. We can not guarantee international scouts. However, there will be Chinese professional club coaches watching at the tournament. 

Will there be emergency medical treatment at pitch side for every game?
There will be professional expert available during match times to over see any emergency on-pitch treatment. Emergency ambulances will also be available during match times to ensure hospital treatments.

3. Travel

How types of travel documents will we need to come to China?
Anyone wishing to enter into China must have:
- A valid passport with at least 1 year before expiry date.
- A legitimate Chinese tourist Visa to enter into China
 
Can parents and supporters travel with the team?
Yes, Parents and Supports are most welcome to China along with the teams. They bring a great atmosphere and the support.

Can we visit other cities in China after the tournament?
