All referees at The Great Wall Cup are qualified and registered with the Beijing Football Association and China Football Association to ensure all games are of regulated and fair play.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR INTERNATIONAL REFEREES!
The Great Wall Cup is proud to announce a new partner Tournament Abroad which will be our exclusive international referee recruitment agency in the next 5 years. Tournaments Abroad is a non-profit referee organization that was founded in 2008 in England. Since then they've worked with tournaments and federations in Europe and America (GWC is going to be the first Asian tournament) in providing international referees.
International referees are responsible for officiating scheduled soccer games during the tournament. The international referees will work with Chinese referees during the tournament to maintain a fair and safe environment for participants and spectators. Also, observing and administering the rules of the game of soccer in accordance to FIFA regulations.
The Great Wall Cup will provide international referees with free accommodation, food, transportation and other free sightseeing events during the tournament week. It is a great opportunity to gain overseas work experience and a chance to get close with the Chinese culture.

To apply for referee position of the Great Wall Cup, you should fit the below qualification:
Qualifications:
- Over 18 years old. Currently in good health. Please do not apply if you have history of heart disease or asthma
- Complete understanding and knowledge of football/soccer rules.
- Experience of refereeing youth tournament or league of local or international level.
- Customer service experience is desirable.
- Certified qualification is recommended but not essential.
Example of duties
- Refereeing at least 2 games, either as referee, linesman or assistance
- Arrive at scheduled field 15 minutes prior to kick off
- Make sure that games start and end on time
- Handle issues related to tournament rules as they arise
- Monitor games to make sure rules/policies are followed
- Make every effort to be in correct position to make correct ruling.
- Report issues to tournament operation manager.
The Great Wall Cup of Beijing 2012 offer:
