The Great Wall Cup tournament system guarantees all teams play on match day, and have time to enjoy themselves after the match. The tournament format is closely based on the FIFA World Cup tournament. Pools of 3 or 4 teams will play in a league format during the Group Stage, followed by a knock out stage and semi-final to enter into either A or B Finals. The first and runner-up in the Group Stage will enter into “Play-off A” and the third and fourth teams will enter for “Play-off B”. The third and fourth in each group will also play against each other for ranking. All teams will play at least 4 games and as many as 5, 6 or 7 games.
